Reduced Vaginal Lubrication After Taking Levothyroxin For Thyroid Problem. Reason?
hi I have to type of thyroid that make you gain weight I think its called hypo I started taking levothyroxin 100mrg 4 days ago I feel the same the only difference is my vagina get really wet . I'm happy with that because for the last 4 years I stop getting wet so can you tell me if the medication is doing this to me ? also I hear people saying they gained a lot of weight with this medication is that true ?

It's the reduced level of thyroid hormone which causes weight gain. Levothyroxine us thyroid hormone, it causes increased basal metabolic rate and to the contrary belief what you have, it causes weight loss.
Hypothyroidism causing slowing of function of majority of organs . When the deficiency is replaced, the organization revert back to normal. That explains the resumption of wetness of your vagina.
