Redness In Eyes, Itching, Discharge. Used Broleen Drops And Fucithalmic Eye. Continue Medication?
hi I have watery and red icthy eyes,they are crusty in the mornings with a discharge I have this the last three weeks I have used broleen drops which had no effect I clean the eyes every few hours I went to my doctor and he gave me fucithalmic eye drops I use them but still no change how long should I use the drops for as I only use them for 48 hours should I continue to use them until it goes please help.
Hello, It seems from the history that you are having allergic conjunctivitiis or blepharitis. The treatment for both these conditions is usually required for comparitively long time. Hence I advice you to continue treatment till all the symptoms are reduced as per the advice of your ophthalmologist. Thank you
Hi.. Thanks for the query.. Both the drops you are using are anti bacterial. You might be having an allergic conjunctivitis.. You can start using anti allergic eye drops like olopatadine and if required low strength steroids also.. IN the meanwhile you can use lubricating eye drops for relief..
