Reddish itchy swollen lump on the thigh. Not responding to ibuprofen. What is it?

Hey, for the past three days I have had a hard, red, swollen itchy lump on my outer thigh. But over the days I have taken some anti imflmitory drugs like ibeprofen. But the lump is not going away! Under the skin it feels hard, I ve tried to pop it like a pimple but that didn t work. There is a little red dot in the middle. What can it be?

It must be insect bite hypersensitivity. The symptoms may vary from being mild to very severe.
You are lucky that you have developed only mild symptoms.
You may be benefited by taking oral antihistaminics and a moderately potent steroid + antibiotic cream.
If you see the slighest aggravation, visit a dermatologist for fine tuning of the treatment.
