Reddish Blotch On The Sternum. Turned Into A Purple Bruise. No Injury And No Pain. Should I Worry?

For a couple of weeks ive noticed I have a red blotch on my sternum area-just to the left of the middle. It s been there for a few days-the other day it turned into a purple bruise . Now it s just red again. I don t remember getting injured in that area ... It is no painful at all to the touch Is it something to be concerned about?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

you might be having a low platelet count and hence you are developing these bruises.

Get your platelet levels checked.

Usually it takes around 2 weeks for the bruise to heal,

you can use oint thrombophobe to get a faster relief.

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
