Red spot under right arm, grows into size of dime, morphs into a ring. Any ideas ?

red spot will show up under my right arm then over a week or so will grow to about the size of a dime, then morph into a ring that may then grow to the size of a silver dollar or a little bigger. Have had this off and on for several years. The time between onset and when they disappear is usually a week or two. No real discomfort or itch . Always the right arm pit. Any ideas?

eruptins at same place again and again occurs in case of fixed drug eruptions. you have not mentioned any drug intake.
If you have associated itching then i consider fungal infection too.
visit a dermatologist.
