Red Scaly Plague On Arm, Slightly Itchy In The Center Spread To Buttocks, Groin, Inner Arms. History Of Similar Symptoms, Ruled Out Cutaneous Lymphoma. Ideas?

i have red scaly in the center slightly itchy plagues the first one appeared under left arm a month ago and last week it spread all over buttocks,groin,inner arms ( i noticed that areas which were exposed to sun during summer are intact ) i had the same condition 3 years ago , biopsy was done to rule out cutaneous lymphoma ,came out negative and problem resolved by itself what can it be? thanks

Thanks for the query,

You might have developed fungal infection.

Please get a KOH mount done,

This can confirm the fungal etiology.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
