Red Bumps On The Back Of Tongue After Taking Flagyl For A Bacterial Infection
Ive been taking flagyl for a bacterial infection for almost a week. When i first started taking it, it felt like there was something scratchy on the back of my tongue or throat. When i woke up this morning, i now have red bumps scattered on the back of my tongue. Is this a side effect of the flagyl?

I really appreciate your concern the active ingredient of Tab Flagyl is Metronidazole and this drug does not induced side effect that causes any lesion on tongue, the red lesion that you are having could be because of something else and not the side effect of metronidazole you better get it examine clinically by the doctor, this is the best option that can clear the doubt, hope this information helps you take care and have nice day.
