Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Folliculitis is the inflammation of hair follicles and is mostly caused due to bacteria. Fungus may be causative organism.
It occurs due to shaving or friction with rough clothes.
It is usually self limiting and subside in 2 weeks.
If symptoms persists, topical or oral antibiotics and antifungal may be needed.
Soaking the affected area with warm water also gives relief.
Don't rub the lesion and also avoid using other towels.
Get well soon
