Recurring red, itchy skin on labia. Sometimes have bump. Reason?

Hi, I ve been having a recurring red itchy skin on the outer edge of my labia around my monthly cycle. Sometimes there is a bump that feels like it s under the skin but no pus or raised edges. Some of the symptoms online point to genital herpes but that s not possible because I ve never had sex. This problem is really embarrassing and causes alot of anxiety for me.
