Thanks for writing to H.C.M. for your query.

I have gone through your query and as you said that you are having nasal congestion, sore throat bumps on posterir part of tongue and some times alterred voice. All these symptoms are indicating that you are having severe upper respiratory tract infection involving nose and paranasal sinuses, throat and larynx as well, this has also involved the base of tongue.

For a systemetic management of your disease you are advice for these basic investigations-
(1) C.T.scan of paranasal sinuses.
(2) Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.
(3) X-Ray chest in P. A. view.
(4) Blood - CBC, blood sugar- F. & P.P.
(5) Urine - Routine & Microscopic.

A tharough clinical examination and there co-relation with investigation's reports will tell us about diagnosis which may be accordingly plan for treatment. Till above formalities are goingon you can take antibiotic, anti inflammatory, decongestant and steam inhalation.

Wishing for speedy recovery.

With Regards.
