Recurring Fever And Abdominal Pain. Took Tylenol. What Is The Cure?

My 18 year old daughter has had a low grade fever (99.7 to 99.9) on and off for about 15 days. Tonight she is experiencing very severe abdominal pain. She took a TylenolPM before I came home and now has no fever but says the pain is like someone is stabbing her from her lower right abdomen to upper left (just above the belly button).
She just finished menstrual cycle and said about 6 hours ago she had a normal bowel movement.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, with this presentation in my clinic, I would first of all rule out appendicitis. Initially, it begins with pain around the umbilical region which later settles in the lower right abdominal region, with nausea and fever. Bowel movement may not be affected and diagnosis need a thorough physical examination. In my opinion, I think she should be taken to an emergency department for proper evaluation.
I hope i have answered your query
