Recurred Painful Bruise On Foot Near Toes. History Of Fall Of Object On Foot. Will Walking Wrong Way Do More Damage?
Hello, While in the shower one day I dropped a BJ's economy size conditioner bottle on my foot, (about 5-6 weeks ago )(embarrassing I know) and at first my foot bruised all over top by toes. Then bruise seemed to go away. Now in the past two weeks a new bruise has shown up further back away from toes and hurts to walk and flex left foot.. I'm walking all the wrong way just to avoid the pain... can I actually do more damage than just a bruise by dropping conditioner on my foot?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain that is persistent with the bruise is likely to be due to a bone injury in the area. It needs a direct examination for proper diagnosis. An X-ray is needed to detect any bone injury. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
