Recurred Episode Of Double Vision For Few Hours. History Of High BP, Eye Exam Showed No Problem. Concerning?

Yesterday morning I woke up with double vision, which lasted a few hours and then returned for about an hour. This is the third time this has happened in the last few mos. I am a 55yrd old female with high blood pressure. I had a complete eye exam less than a year ago. How worried should I be about this. Should I go to the ER if this happens again? What could cause this to occur out of the blue?

Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM
U are having blood pressure, are you on regular medicines? Is it well controlled? It could be explained by sudden shoot up in blood pressure. It could also be due to some eye conditions which has to be ruled out. Best advise for you would be to go to ER when you have the attack.
Hope this helps you
Take care
