Rectal Mucus Discharge, Constipated, Gas. Have IBS. History Of Bone Marrow Transplant For Lymphoma

I am a female, 61 yrs old & have constant mucus from the rectum (months), along with embarrassing gas - taking Gas-X & wearing pads always. Sometimes bloody & assuming cause from internal hemorrohoids, since a bit constipated, probably due to meds I'm taking. Have IBS & welcome the slight constipation over the horrific, messy soft stools. Had a colonoscopy this past Dec. & it was fine. Just told to take probiotics, which I have taken faithfully. Concerned since I 've had a bone marrow transplant for lymphoma (Non-Hodgkins, Large T-Cell) nearly 5 yrs ago.
Foods don't seem to make a difference - tried many different diets.

Hello. Symptoms and signs that you say may be caused by IBS and Internal hemorrhoids that you suffers.
Colonoscopy is a very sensitive test to rule out other pathologies such as cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
If you already had symptoms before to colonoscopy, go to your doctor if symptoms do not disappear in a few days.
If the symptoms have appeared after the colonoscopy, should go to your doctor as soon as possible.
I wish you good health.
