Recovering From Twist Of Intestine Surgery. What Must Have Caused This?

I am recorvering from a twist of my intestine surgery. Dr said the top portion was at the bottom and the bottom at the top. They did not know what the cause was. They took portion of my colon , portion of small intestine and they took my apendix. What causes this and what are the chances of this happening again YYYY@YYYY

Hi..Kark since the surgeons have already operated , wait until, the biopsy report..
the biopsy report will give the exact cause for the disease.. the appendix will be removed if the abdomen is opened for any other cause, this will not affect you in any way...
