Recovering from jaundice, weight loss. Stopped oily food, taking liv52 tablets. Diet recommendations?

i just recovered from jaundice and i am having live52 tablet twice a day. I have completely stopped taking oily food and having only vegetables with less salt since last one month. I lost 7-8 kgs of weight. Could you please suggest how can i gain weight and also please suggest what types of food is suitable for one after the recovery of janudice.

I think you have recovered form viral Hepatitis,there are many types but which spreads by water are A & E type .

These are self limiting diseases requires no specific treatment.

Medically we do not advise such dietry restriction or rest to the Hepatitis patients.

As you are loosing weight it is strongly advised that take normal diet which nutritious ans normal salt and even fats as they provide calories. Fresh fruits and nuts should be included to regain the lost weight.

If required vitamins and protien supplimentation may be given.

You may stop taking Liv 52.

Consult Physician and/or Dietician in this regard.
