Recovered From Typhoid Fever, Persistent Back Pain. Possible Cause?

Hi i had typhoid fever last month and had injections and oral antibiotics and recovered well except i now have a persistent upper back pain, i had this during typhoid but it subsided during the treatment and a couple of weeks later i started feeling this back ache again, can u please tell me what could be causing this now?? i have no other symptoms or fever!!

sometime the typhoi remains in the git tract causing stomach and gi problems
and gi problems cause back pain
after blood work treat the typhoid properly in consultation with doctor

Hi,

Upper back pain is not related to typhoid fever.

But it may occur due to prolonged confining to bed because of the disease.

Or it is due to strain of back muscle and bone.

You can try a painkiller such as ibuprofen in prescribed dose after food.

And consult the doctor for physical examination and further evaluation.
