General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

Consistent belching could be an indication of an undiagnosed gastrointestinal abnormality (eg. gastrointestinal reflux disease, acid reflux, etc.) or in some rare cases even anxiety. But in your case it seems to be related to a gastrointestinal condition. For this reason I would recommend a 24 hour acid monitoring, an endoscopy and a complete blood count. Further investigations may be required but will be recommended by your doctor.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
