Reason For Spotting During Pregnancy?
TMI. i am about 5 weeks 5days pregnant, i'm always constipated. i've seen blood from my rectal area after going #2 but never from my vagina, today my coworker wanted to take me out to celebrate. i went home a little tired and very full. i had to go to the bathroom, i pushed and at saw on my pantyliner a drop of bright red blood. i checked where blood was coming from and wiped my vagina saw a small clot dark red then spot of bright red blood. i am on progesterone, i called my ivf doctor and was told just rest. 2 hours later i got up to pee and no spotting, i went again and saw not brown spotting w/ tiny tissue.

I had gone through the case and found that it might be due to some effect from fetus. As you are on progesterone ,so must be careful for your pregnancy.
If you are having pain/ heaviness in lower abdomen with spotting then immediate you must go for ultrasound of lower abdomen to know the condition of fetus and uterus.
Take proper bed rest for initial 3months (12 weeks).
