Reason For Sinusitis Frequent Occurrence?

I have a cold turned into sinusitus Dr put me on 1 dose nasal spray and Augmenten 2 days ago. I have had coughing fits (tickling in voice box area is where it starts) This has happened to me a few times over past 4-5 years, but this time I am gagging, feel like vomiting and can't breath, within 5 minutes it subsides. Then few hours later for no reason BAM it hits again

Any ideas....I am 58 only get sick once a year (teacher) and usually never miss work, except this time because of the coughing fits.

Hi. Your symptoms are suggestive of sever pharyngitis , which gives rise to the incidences of feeling of gagging and vomiting and so on. Please continue Augmentin thrice daily, you may need additional antiinflammatory medicines and anti-allergic tablets , which your Doctor will prescribe for you.
