Reason For Sharp Recurring Stabbing Feeling To The Left Of Belly Button

I have a sharp stabbing/poking feeling to the left of my bellybutton. I had a urinary test a week ago and it came back fine. It only lasts around 2 minutes but is re-occuring. To give you a bit of background: I have recently been diagnosed with a cyst in the pineal region of my brain. My eating habits have been shocking since just before christmas. I'm feeling hungry but when I smell/see food it make me feel sick. Once I start eating I manage a few small mouthfuls and feel really full. I have had trouble sleeping also and suffer from migraines regularly. I'm 21.

General Surgeon 's  Response
HI. This may not be related to pineal body. spasms of minute duration with recurrence are suggestive of intestinal problems like obstruction or so. I would advise you to have one opinion of a Surgeon, a standing X-ray of abdomen and a sonography. May be you need to go for contrast studies for intestines.
