Hi there, I have had a really bad pain when swollowing for about 6 weeks now and am really worried, it is only on the right side, I went to the doc and she said my tonsils are swollen, (but I don t have a sore throught!) or any other simptons. I am on antibiotics but they don t seem to be doing anything? Please help?
hi dear, pain on swallowing may be due to tonsillitis or sore throat. as you consulted a doctor who diagnose you have tonsillitis so take proper antibiotic and also take care not to have cold water or ice cream or any other cold drinks. also do gargles with warm saline which also helps you. also take regular follow up with doctor as sometimes if infection does not cure surgery will be necessary. consult ENT specialist. Thank you.
