Reason For Pain In The Shoulders?

I was playing basketball and got rammed in the back of the right shoulder really hard right around where my scapula attatches to my arm. I heard 3 loud cracks and now Its been 2 days and i cant move my arm straight out in front of me more than a 45 degree angle. I cant move my arm straight up to the side at all. When i move my arm a certain way it kinda feels like a comes out of place and it immediately becomes unbearable to just even rest my arm. The unbearable pain soon goes away to a not as intense pain, but there is still always pain no matter what, even more when i move my arm anyway that uses my shoulder. I can lift my arm right arm when its limp with my left arm and it doesnt hurt but i feel a little gringing and tiny pops. It seems if i use muscle in my shoulder at all its unbearable

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
