Reason For Pain In The Leg While Walking?

First let me explain I'm a missionary and I don't have any spare cash to give you but if you would like to help me for free That would be wonderful. Six days ago I came down with what I thought was the flu and a high temperature. After three days I realized it had something to do with my right leg. When I put my leg down there was excruciating pain and it is still the same now three days after going to the emergency in our local hospital in Germany. I am now on my third day of the 10 day antibiotic course and I take an anticoagulant injection in my stomach every day. As long as I keep my leg up the pain is bearable. The moments that I try to walk it's really bad. I am a Male 75 years old. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my GP. Do you have any suggestions in the meantime. I take a pill for high blood pressure 5 mg of Ramipril every day. This successfully controls my my blood pressure. One question is is it okay to take a 4 mg of ibuprofene just for the pain as I don't have a fever now? God bless you please help me!

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for writing
Based on the symptoms and the medicine your are taking, the diagnosis is deep vein thrombosis that is clotting of blood in veins leading to obstruction to blood flow.
Just follow the advice and have faith in your treating doctor. Hopefully, you will recover of your suffering in few days time. You can take Ibuprofen,it is safe.
Take care
