Hi, I am a women in my late 40s and have been expericing bad pain IN my lower back groin legs and ankles. No doctor has been able to diagnose the cause..When I get up out of bed I am shuffling as my ankles and sometimes my legs are in pain, this has been going on for a good year and a bit and is getting worse. Please help thank you Jacqueline .
hi jacqueline , This could be due radiculopathy which shows the symptoms of low back pain which radiated to thigh calf n even ankle with or without tingling n numbness. There could be cause as well which need to be diagnosed through proper clinical examination n investigation includin X Ray , MRI etc . If suggestive of LBP with radiculopathy then at this stage you may require conservative surgery with Physiotherapy , lifestyle modifications , warm compression , avoid sternous n bending forward activities n analgesic (NSAID) muscle relaxant pain vitamine .If the symptom aggravate or bowel n bladder involvement then emg operative decompression required .
Hope this ll help
Thanks n regards
