Hi, I have had a fibroadnoma removed from my left breast about 20 years ago. I am now having pain when I breathe in on that site I had a lumpectomy then so is it possible that it grew back? I m also in menopause with frequent and severe hot flashes throughout the day and night.

Hi,

Unlikely to be due to previous surgeries done years back. You can feel for any lump in your breast. If so you can consult a surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr B. Radhakrishnan. Nair, OBGYN
