Reason For Having Bad Headache, Painful Throat Due To Cough, Chills And High Fever
I started feeling sick-really bad headache and cough which caused my throat to become raw and painful. Then came chills -then high fever. Severe coughing and high fever. Then i started getting very severe pains in my rib cage, This is just in the last 2 days. I am 58 years old. Healthy except for high blood pressure. Weight=160 5'6" Work full time.

Hi sir, looks like u have a URTI.
Take rest for atleast 2 days. Drink lots of liquids.
take anti inflammatory meficines, anti histamines and decongestants .
If symptoms persist, then do consult doctor, u may need z course of antibiotics.
Do steam inhalation and hot saline gargle, avoid cold and oily foods.
Dont worry u will be fine.
