Reason For Delay In Periods And Not Conceiving Also?
I am treated for PCOS for 3 months and then had Ubiphene 50. had intercourse during these days and my periods got skipped for 2 months but the pregnancy test failed. Am starting the process again in the next month. What could be the reason for the break in menstrual cycle and not conceiving also

Several factors may be at play for the failure to conceive. Firstly, the hormonal treatment may not have been adequate; multiple hormonal abnormalities co-exist in PCOD sometimes. Secondly, the dosage may have been inadequate to induce ovulation. Thirdly, additional drugs like Metformin, which is very helpful in the management of PCOD, may need to be added.
