Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

There are several causes for constipation in a baby.

Certain conditions like hypothyroidism should be ruled out.

A T3, T4, TSH may be prescribed by your doctor after a physical examination.

Further investigations like barium enema etc may be prescribed if the condition of the baby indicates investigations.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
