Rashes On Neck, Fungus Infection, Oral Lamisil, Cured And Repeats Again, Swollen Wrist, Itchy

I had a rash on my neck, and the dermatologist thought it was a fungus and perscribed oral Lamisil. The rash got better and my nails improved, but after 2 weeks on Lamisil, my rash is coming back and this afternoon, my wrist swelled significantly and is very itchy. I also have two swollen patches that are very itchy and about the size of a small egg on each leg.

Hi Rock,

The rash you are describing can be urticaria or eczema.

You can take Tab cetirizine for itching .

Topical steroid like flutivate can be helpful.

A visit to dermatologist will be needed to confirm the diagnosis and offer treatment.

Hope this helps.
