Rashes on face after shaving

I usually get red rushes on my face after shaving . Earlier i was using mac 3 razor and now i am using philips electric shaver. My hair are not also completly shaved. I usually shave in the night time after diner and after shave i aply alum, after shave lotion and boroplus on my face. And in the next morning i see red rushes on my face. Pls sugest me what 2 do. you have sensitive skin
do
-shaving after bath,when hair are soft
-dont use after shave lotion
-do shaving in one direction only
-when more rashes are there apply futop b cream over it
