Rash On Face, Burning, Tightness, Redness. Was It Rosecea?

I have had a slight rash on my face for 3 weeks - burning, tight, red (flushed) at all times. I asked the doctor if it was rosecea but he said no, it was a rash but I am not sure. Skin is very tight, and burns all the time, feels like a burn except I did not burn myself. Nothing is helping to make it go away and I cannot get in to see a dermatologist until May....

Hello,
Thanks for the query,

Yes the symptoms described by you suggest a diagnosis of rosacea.

Please avoid sun exposure.

You must apply a sun screen with 50 spf at least 3 times a day.

Metronidazole gel also helps.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
