Putting on weight. Exercise everyday. Leads to Diabetes?

Hi I have given up smoking about a year and a half ago and put on about 18 kilo not through eating more or eating biscuits or lollies I exercise 3 to 4 time a week and watch what I eat
any tips I've been told that sometimes your body goes into a pre diabetic state when you give up smoking and that smoking takes away the nicotinate in your body.

I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Excessive weight is a risk factor for diabetes so need to be more careful about your weight. You need to have regular checkup of your sugar levels. I will also advise you to increase your physical activity like exercise daily for half an hour. Make some diet changes eat low fat diet.
