Pus-filled Bump On Scrotum. No Pain. Help

hi, i have a pus filled bump on my scrotum not connected to testical. I recently shaved down there and a few days later i had a puss filled pimple like bump which was red with a white point. I squeezed it and a white substance came out at first followed by clear liquid. I tried to get all the puss out and now it has healed but is now about the same size and tender hasnt seemed to heal much. it looks red now and wont come to an exact point but seems like still a little puss is still in the bump. I tried queezing today and it wouldnt pop so i figured to leave it alone. it doesn t hurt, i m just worried it may be an std . I have only slept with one woman for the past about 5 years and only 2 prior to her. Any help would be much appreciated thankyou.

Hi there,
It seems like you are having Folliculitis, which is an inflammation of the hair roots and can be caused by friction, bacterial or fungal infection.
As after shaving there must be some friction and when you squeezed the pimple you put more pressure and caused more inflammation.
So I think not to worry and start the treatment with:
1: Bacitracin ointment apply it twice a day for 5-7 days.
2: tablet Ibuprofen 400mg three times a day after your main meals .in the mean time please don't try to squeeze or pick the lesions because there is a risk of injury and cross infections.
I hope you ll feel much better, thanks a lot .
