Pupils Dilated, Non Responsive To Any Light Source And Having Blurred Vision After Trying New Motion Sickness Patch

my wife's pupils are dilated and non responsive to any light source. She can't even sit up without feeling motion sick and her vision is blurry inside of 20 inches. She is on a couple of medications and tried a new motion sick patch for our holiday traveling and that was left on for about 12 hours past the recommend time. She has had these symptoms for 36-48 hours now.

Hello,
It seems from the history that you have used skin patch for motion sickness. Now you are having blurring of vision and pupils are dilated and not responding to light.

These are because of effect of the drugs used to treat motion sickness. The antimotion sickness drugs particularly the skin patches are known to cause anticholinergic side effects similar to the action of atropine, homatropine, cyclopentolate.

The blurring of vision is because of dilatation of pupil. These symptoms will last for 1 day to 1 week depending on the drug and its action.

If you can tell me the drug and its contsnts I can tell you how long the symptoms will last.

Thank you
