Hello, My husband seems to have pulled his neck muscle and has had a very stiff neck for two days now. Later this afternoon he said it hurts very bad in the back of his head and neck when he swallows. Advil does not seem to be helping much. Can a pulled neck muscle give someone pain when they swallow? I plan to call doctor in the morning but wondered if this should be seen sooner. Thank you.
