Problem in left eye, boil in white part with redness, little irritation sometimes. What it it all about?

I am having a Problem with my left eye. There is something that looks like a boil in the white part of my eye with quite a bit of redness around the area. It has been there for almost 10 days now. No pain or change in vision, though it is a bit irritating at times. Used eye drops for two days. No change. Any ideas?

dear user
from the above complaints it seems you are having redness of the sclera the white part of the eye. Since there is no pain it is unlikely to be a serious disease like scleritis. It can be a degenerative condition of the eye like pinguecula or pterygium. so need to consult to decide what exactly it is and whether it requires treatment or not.
