Prickling Pain In Lower Legs, Bruising Easily On Legs. Having Varicose Vein. What Could Be This?

Hi, I am a 66 year old black female.I am not diabetic. However, I have been experiencing burning prickly pain in my lower legs. I have had this problem for about four months I was given pain medicine for the problem
My doctor does not know what the problem is..I do have varicose veins. In addition, I have started to bruise very easily on my legs. During the past year I lost 36 pounds. What could this possibly be?

Hi,
From history it seems that your problem might be due to varicose veins in the legs.
Due to impaired circulation caused by varicose vains you might be having leg pains.
Consult vascular surgeon and get examined.
Deep vein thrombosis should be ruled out as well.
Osteoporosis or osteomalacia can give rise to this problem.
Take high dose of calcium, vitamin A, D supplements.
Ok and take care.
