Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

The symptoms stated by you does in fact indicate that there is some kind of a problem, more inclined towards the presence of an infection. In the presence of an infection like a urinary tract infection, you would have symptoms like:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)
Not all need to be present, but if a few are present, then we can suspect a UTI, and further investigate it.

But, from what your doctor reported, there is blood and protein in your urine. The presence of blood (microscopic) is usually also present in an infection.

The presence of protein can be normal if in small quantities, if it is in larger quantities, then this is a matter of concern. I think the best thing for you now would be to either visit a urologist or write back to me with the result of your urine analysis, and I can guide you from there on.

In the meantime, do consume plenty of water. I wish you a speedy recovery and great health from there on.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
