Prescribed Folic Acid And Siphene In Order To Conceive. Why Are Ovaries Swollen?

I am trying to convience from last 3 month. I am 30 and my husband age is 33. I have shown to doc in Bangalore. She has told me everything is normal and has advise me to take Folic acid daily & Siphen 100 mg for 5 days from 3rd day of period till 8th day of period. So i am wondering why has he asked me to have siphen 100 mg if everything in normal. she has also tole me my both side ovary is little bit swollen. we are worried for the same. i have already taken 1 month of Folic acid and have taken 5 tablet of siphen 100mg. Is there any chance this month i would be pregant. My last was on 29th Oct.

Hello!
He gave you siphene because this medication stimulate ovulation and the chance of being pregnant is more likely to happen.
This medication should be prescribed from the doctor when a couple have regular intercourse and have no pregnancy for one year.
You should not be concerned about the ovaries because they do not have problem for pregnancy if they do not have cystic structure.
