Pregnant With Cold. Painful Lump On Face. Is It Clogged Sinus Duct?

I am 35 weeks pregnant and have had a cold/ flu for five weeks. Currently my nose is completely stuffed despite my best efforts to provide steam, saline , propping up etc. it is immensely interfering with my sleep bi also have a large painful lump on the right side of my face parallel to my ear lobe. I am thinking it is a clogged sinus duct. Do you have suggestions for safe ways to get some relief - I need to sleep

Hi,
Thanks for your query,
It seems you are suffering from parotitis which presents as large painful lump on the sides of ear.Apart from the efforts you are making, you may also need a antibiotic like amoxycillin or other as well as some anti inflammatory drugs, depending upon the severity. I suggest you to consult a ENT specialist for proper initiation of tratment after proper examination and confirmation.

Take care and best of luck..
Hope it helps..
