Pregnant with border line positive to Hepatitis B. Tested Acute and LFT. Suggestion?

hi, i went to my initial ob appoinment. i m 11 weeks pregnant and received a phone call saying that i was borderline positive for hepatitis b . they did another blood draw for acute and LFT. is this something that i should be concerned about. i don t find out the results until another 3 weeks. i can t wait that long. so concerned for my health and for my unborn baby s health.

Hepatitis b with pregnancy is serious.
You run the risk of hepatic damage and your unborn baby is at risk for vertical transmission of Hepatitis B.
You need to be tested for other forms of Hepatitis, as well as the hepatitis B viral load, testing for the core antigen, HBEAg etc.
your liver function tests and partner's status need to be evaluated.
If you have high viral load, you would be given antivirals to improve your condition and decrease the risk of transmission to your baby.
