Pregnant, Vaginal Bleeding, Stomach Cramps, Miscarriage. Suggestions?

Hi. After seeing my GP last Friday (confirming my pregnancy at 5 weeks - the first date of my last period was 07/12/12), I subsequently started bleeding a couple of hours later). I m still bleeding today, Sunday, 3 days later, so am assuming that this is a miscarriage . Cramps akin to period pains have lessened today, but bleeding is continuing. Can you advise me on how to proceed? Thank you.

Hello
Thanks for your query.
You need to see your doctor at the earliest, and confirm that this is an abortion - complete or incomplete, and if you need medical/surgical aid.
Also, sometimes, the pregnancy might still be viable, and you could be given support for that.
Take care.
