Pregnant, Terrible Pain In Rib Cage, Kidney Blockage In Baby. Inverted Uterus, 2 Vessel Umbilical Cord Diagnosed. Suggestion?

I have severe IBS and I am 7 months pregnant I am experience terrible pain under my left rib cage. I am not very big and I have only gained 8 lbs due to the IBS. The baby is very active but not close to my rib cage. I also have an inverted uterus. I have a 2 vessel umbilical cord and the baby does have a kidney with some blockage, but I don't think this is related to the pain in the rib cage. Any suggestions on how I can elevate the pain?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

So to summarize, you are late in a pregnancy that is complicated by poor maternal weight gain and a fetus with a 2 vessel cord, and now experiencing pain under your rib cage on the left.

Given how far along you are, it would be best for you to contact your doctor. This could be related to the pregnancy and your fetus is at some increased risk.

Good luck!
