Pregnant, Sonography Shows Stomach Bubble Bigger Then Fetus. How To Cure? Advised Plypyloric Stenosis Test
Hi my wife is 28 week pregnant, yesterday she had her sonography in which we came to know about stomach bubble is bigger than normal size for the unborn baby, i would like t know what is the cure and what is the side effect of this, Doctor ask us to take second opinion of another sonography specialist and asked for "plypyloric stenosis to be checked.
I do not think its really a moment to worry about pyloric stenosis. Pyloric stenosis is generally characterized by increased quantity in the quantity of amniotic fluid. There are also other indirect ultrasound findings generally associated with this condition. I would suggest you spend about two weeks and get the next ultrasound or get the opinion, as you rightly put it, of another ultrasound specialist. But for now, absence of excessive amniotic fluid as main report of echographic report make pyloric stenosis unlikely. This however also depends on a ny past history of this condition in the family.
Thanks and kind regards,
