Pregnant, Prescribed Hibor Injection, Had Pink Discharge, Advised To Increase Dosage Of Cyclogest Pessaries. Should I Continue With Hibor?

Hello Doctor . I am 5 weeks pregnant( IVF ), my doctor prescribed to do daily Hibor 2500iu injection and aspirin against the blood clotting. Today I had a pink discharge, and doctor advised to increase the dosage of cyclogest pessaries and stop aspirin. Doctor, I am worry to continue with Hibor 2500iu injection, as it might cause more bleeding. My doctor said, that it is ok and i should continue, but I have doubt as another doctor didn t recommend it. Please advise, can the Hibor 2500iu cause the bleeding, as I had light pink discharge today. Thank you.

Hi,
I would not suggest Hibor or aspirin at such an early stage. You could increase the cyclogest pessaries. But at 5 weeks, i would not advise the anticoagulants yet.
