Pregnant, Pain In Lower Back, Hips, Legs, Pelvis. Going For Physiotherapy. Treatment Options?
Hello, i am 21 weeks pregnant and i have pelvic pain with severe lower back pain and this is making it impossible for me to do anything so I am worried about labour and need some advice. Next week am going to see a phisiotherapist but its a group session and my concern is I dont think that would help me with my current condition because it gets worse when I walk and my hips and legs hurt a lot. Please help me with any advice that can help me. I really appreciate ,Thank You.
hi
you are still very young in your pregnancy period, the backache is very common symptom in pregnancy you dont have to worry about labor at this point, you start worrying if you start experiencing abdominal pains going to the back with bleeding or if your water bag has burst early or if you dont hear your baby kicking.
for the backache try doing warm baths with hot pack application on the area your back hurts the most, try to do light exercises to relax your muscles, tell your partner to massage for you your back with painkiller ointment or massage oil.
you also need to get yourself checked for urine infection or fungal infection which could bring about the above symptoms you have just mentioned.
i would suggest visit your obstretician for a checkup to alleviate the stress you going through.
hope have answered your query
wish you a quick recovery and wish you have a healthy bouncing baby in a few months takecare.
