Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for posting your query to this forum,
You are known case of hypothyroidism and taking thyronorm and now pregnant.
You must understand that in pregnancy require special and close monitoring as requirement of Thyroxine increases.
Please continue your Thyronorm and consult Internal medicine specialist or Endocrinologist to treat you.
TSH value should be repeated more frequently and dose adjustment must be done.
Hypothyroidism in the mother and/or the unborn baby can have significant adverse health effects on the unborn baby, and so maternal hypothyroidism must be treated with lot of care.
the TSH level should be at a level of between 0.1 and 2.5 mIU/L,
0.2 to 3.0 mIU/L during the second trimester,
0.3 to 3.0 mIU/L in the third trimester.
In many cases this treatment is life long which depends on cause like autoimmune one.
Wish you safe motherhood.
