Pregnant, Medical Abortion, Bleeding, Abdominal Pain. How Do I Know If I Had Complete Abortion?

i m 22 yrs old. i had my first abortion at 04/07/2012.i dnt know that how i confirmed that my abortion was successful and in future no problem will be arise in pregnancy? i also want to know that any side effect will be occur after 12 weeks pregnancy abortion? i have little bleeding and abdominal pain till now. plz give me advise what i have to do now?

hi,
you can confirm successful abortion with ultrasound if no products of conception found on scan then that can be called as successful abortion.
some causes like chromosomal abnormalities can repeat in subsequent pregnancy but don't worry those are rare,
after abortion you can have spotting up to 1 to 2 weeks,
in case of D&C pelvic inflammatory disease like consequences can happen rarely.
as all these are rare possibilities hopefully you may not have any problem in future pregnancy.
