Pregnant, Lower Abdomen Pain. Took Warm Shower, No Improve. Cure?

Im 30 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Tonight i was having some cramping in my lower belly like menstural cramps so i took a warm shower to try to ease the cramps. But now the cramps seem to radiate to my lower back and i feel slight prusure coming and going in my pelvic bone area. I ve been calling my doctors for everything so im tryin to hold off on calling exspecially if its nothing. Any idea what this is or what i can do to help releave some of the discomfort?

Hello,
As your pregnancy progresses, your body needs to find space for your developing baby. Stomach cramps are often just a side effect of your muscles and ligaments stretching to make room. The extra weight that carrying a baby places on your body can also cause cramping but again this is usually nothing to worry about.
However consult your doctor if the pain is associated with
Heavy bleeding or spotting or fever or heavy discharge with or without clots or very severe cramps.
Do the following

Put a hot water bottle on stomach
Change your position
May take TYLENOL,as this the safest pain killer in pregnancy
Contact your doctor to apprise him of your condition
Thanks
